Seeing many business owners and entrepreneurs struggle through the commercial real estate leasing process made us think, "there has to be a better way." We say that a lot around here because the search for the right space has so many inefficiencies, that every step can become stressful. Our goal is to solve that, so we push every day to ensure your experience of finding space for your business is both easy and enjoyable.

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan graduated from Columbia Business School in May 2012. Prior to business school, Jonathan worked in the International Capital Group at Jones Lang LaSalle where he advised foreign and domestic clients on more than $3 billion worth of transactions globally. Jonathan has a BA in Economics from Emory University.
Co-founder & Chief Financial Officer
Most recently a Vice President with MDTech, a healthcare technology company, Aron oversaw the company’s financial, accounting, and business development efforts. Aron began his career in the International Mergers & Acquisitions group at Deloitte in Houston. He graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a masters degree in accounting and holds a CPA license.
Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer
From 2006 to 2011, Justin served as project manager at Oakmont Group, Inc., a diversified Houston Real Estate development firm. Justin began his career in commercial real estate as a leasing representative for Boxer Property Management, located in Houston. Justin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 with dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and History and is a licensed real estate salesman in Texas.
Chief Product Officer
Ken Seals is passionate about creating compelling digital experiences. He has partnered with incredible teams to design and develop websites and mobile applications for leading brands including Samsung, Polycom, Alcatel-Lucent, Sonoco, and the University of South Carolina. When he's not working on his craft, he can be found running, riding bikes (both the human- and motor-powered varieties), and planning his next epic adventure.
Chief Technical Officer
Before joining TheSquareFoot, Peter worked as a lead developer on a team building algorithmic trading software, and as the CTO and founder of an arts-funding startup. When he's not writing code for TheSquareFoot, Peter can be found spending time with his family.
Alex graduated from New York University in May 2012 with a BA in Art History and a double minor in Business Studies and Environmental Science. A jack (or jill)-of-all-trades, she has worked in the digital space at multiple start-ups in LA and NYC. Most recently, Alex held positions in marketing and finance at American Express OPEN, helping small businesses develop their business. Outside of the office, she splits her time between yoga and snacking all over NYC.
After working in a customer-oriented family business over the past four years, Lauren believes in keeping a sense of warmth and welcome prevalent in today’s online world. She recently graduated summa cum laude from a small liberal arts college in Texas with a BA in English Lit, Studio Art, and a minor in Spanish. Outside of helping TheSquareFoot customers, Lauren spends most of her time exploring the city, walking her dog, and trying new beers.
A programmer by way of data analyst, Sam discovered his passion for web development while working at NASDAQ OMX. Sam uses his thirst to become a master developer to energize his adventures through different programming books and tutorials. When he’s not slogging through lines of code, Sam enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
