Role

  • Coordinate and accompany clients on available space tours.
  • Collect floor plans and detailed pricing information from landlords to provide clients.
  • Negotiate offer letters and facilitate the closing process on behalf of clients.

Lead Ruby Engineer

New York City

As the Lead Ruby Developer at TheSquareFoot, you will advocate for carefully thought out systems and the value they bring to the company. You will work with our brokers, analysts, and customer service staff to create technology that will empower a single broker to do the work of four, and tenants to secure space in half the time it once took.

What you'll do:

  • Build on the set of tools we use for amalgamating building and listing data from hundreds of sources all across the country
  • Build on our web- and mobile-facing api
  • Help us migrate to AWS and optimize our deployment process

Lead iOS Developer

New York City

As the Lead iOS Developer, you'll with our product lead, our web developers, and our broker team to build a swiss army knife iOS app for use by our brokers and our clients. The goal is for the app to make the process of touring and leasing office space easier, simpler, and more convenient.

We have ideas about what sorts of features might be helpful for our user base, but we’re not wedded to them. All we care about, at the end of the day, is making something that people use and love, and it will be as much your responsibility to determine this as it is to build the app.

We are open to building the application in Objective-C, swift, or Ruby Motion. Performance will be important to us. If you’re familiar with Rails and can do work on the app’s API, all the better.

Customer Experience Associate/Manager

New York City

We're looking for an experienced customer service/client relations representative to be the initial interaction point for our incoming customers via phone, email, and live chat. You will help educate and qualify each client to get an understanding of who they are, how much space they need, and what their immediate space options are before handing them off to one of our specialists. You will also learn how to easily create available space reports to send off large clients to get them started on their space search.

Design Intern

New York City

We’re looking for a design intern to join us in our NYC office for 10-20 hours each week (flexible). The ideal candidate has a portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of design fundamentals, experience working with real clients, is a self-starter, and is incredibly driven to learn and improve.

At TheSquareFoot we’re compelled to reimagine what it means to find and discover office space.   • Develop a self-initiated project which seeks to improve our product and service, or tackle the problem from another angle.
