Digital Marketing Specialist

New York City

Working directly with the founding team, the digital marketing specialist will be running PPC and SEO while maintaining an emphasis on overall site growth and revenue building. The digital marketing specialist will primarily be responsible for monitoring and assisting with the daily management of the digital marketing programs, including reviewing, accepting and managing all new digital marketing projects, preparing schedules for them and corralling necessary internal and external resources to complete the assignments. Duties include

  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the thesquarefoot.com.
  • Proactively analyzes KPI's and web analytics to ensure campaign performs to plan.
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Generate digital marketing performance reports and provide insights and recommendations for improving campaign performance.
  • Responsbility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Experience managing PPC, SEO, and affiliate programs.
  • Data driven process.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role (agency experience is okay).
  • Flexible and willing to handle an ever changing work environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Customer Experience Associate/Manager

New York City

We're looking for an experienced customer service/client relations representative to be the initial interaction point for our incoming customers via phone, email, and live chat. You will help educate and qualify each client to get an understanding of who they are, how much space they need, and what their immediate space options are before handing them off to one of our specialists. You will also learn how to easily create available space reports to send off large clients to get them started on their space search.

Senior Software Engineer

New York City

We're looking for a senior software engineer to help build the TheSquareFoot application. You will be a core member of the technology team, which is tasked with building new functionality into TheSquareFoot, improving our internal tooling, research lab projects, and helping our customer service and business team resolve issues.

About you

  • At least 2+ years of Rails experience in a production environment
  • At least 5+ years of programming experience in a production environment
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Any experience with jQuery
  • Any experience with client side Javascript frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Ember, etc)
  • Any experience deploying to Heroku or EC2
