Between its stunning design, prime location, and countless green technology innovations, Bank of America tower truly has it all. The building features a spectacular wrapped deconstructivist style façade made completely out of low energy glass curtains. Running over 55 stories, this tower offers over 2.1 million square feet of top of the line class A office space and is the third tallest building in the United States. Moreover, the green technology features of this tower are countless. The building features sophisticated air filters that remove over 95% of air particles, can collect and store over 296,000 gallons of rainwater for use in cooling and irrigation, has an air conditioning & heating that creates ice at night to use for cooling purposes in the day, and actually produces its own electricity thanks to a 5.1 Megawatt generator located in the basement. To say this is a monumental achievement is an understatement, and Bank of America tower is on pace to become America’s first and only LEED platinum certified building. Being located on Bryant Park isn’t a bad thing, either. With access to a wide variety of restaurants, subway lines, and other amenities, Bank of America tower is the flagship of the next generation of skyscrapers.
