The average cost per square foot per year in Lake Highlands

Located in the northeast part of Dallas, Texas, Lake Highlands is technically part of East Dallas and North Dallas. While not officially a subdivision, Lake Highlands does have its own City Council District, at least according to the Dallas Morning News. The area of Lake Highlands is located north of Northwest Highway and White Rock Creek, east of Central Expressway and goes right up to the border of Richardson and Garland on the North and East respectively. Lake Highlands is prime real estate for both businesses looking to settle in the Dallas area, and workers looking to live in the city, but away from the hustle bustle of the Downtown Dallas area. It’s close in proximity to both the Dallas/Fort Worth and Love Field airports, which makes flying in or out of a city a breeze. For commuters, traveling in and out of Downtown Dallas is just an easy light-rail ride from either the Northwest Highway or LBJ/Skillman DART stations. It’s also near Texas Instruments, the Richardson Telecommunication Corridor and some pretty fantastic North Dallas shopping. Lake Highlands really is the best of both worlds; offering the bountiful amenities associated with living in a big city (i.e. - City of Dallas services), all without the hassle that often comes with living in a more urban environment. Residents of Lake Highlands are serviced by the Richardson Independent School District which is great for families looking to settle down in the area. As if that wasn’t enough of a draw—the area’s lush greenery, rolling terrain, big old trees and of course, the White Rock Creek Greenbelt, all provide for a pleasant change of scenery.
